Cost / Budget Analyst

Our Client has a permanent position for a Cost & Budget Analyst. This is a great company to work for and offers a nice benefits package.
We are seeking a Cost & Budget Analyst who is looking to accelerate their career growth within a large Tier One manufacturer, with global operations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyze and report month end inventories and work independently on assigned projects while interacting with various departments.
Other responsibilities are as follows:
o Reporting and analysis of month end inventories.
o Analysis and maintenance of standard costs.
o Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs, and providing reports to management.
o Determining costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
o Maintain and publish weekly & monthly reports.
o Coordination & participation in quarter end and year end physical inventory audits.
o Special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
o Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related degree.
o 3
years of experience with accounting in a manufacturing setting as well as inventory experience.
o Ability to Travel 10%
o Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
o Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
o Strong analytical, planning and organization skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
