Senior Corporate Accountant

Job ResponsibilitiesPlastipak is seeking a driven, self-motivated Senior Corporate Accountant.
The role's responsibilities include analyzing and recording a variety of business transactions; prepare monthly, quarterly andyear end schedules and reconciliations; assist in the preparation of internal and external financial statements; prepare U.
GAAP compliance and disclosure review; assist with developing, maintain and monitoring accounting policies andprocedures; and assist with various accounting projects.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial reporting- Assist with various external reporting compliance requirements including, SEC and debt covenants- Prepare technical accounting white papers through research and interpretation of applicable authoritative accountingliterature under U.
GAAP- Prepare manual journal entries for various accounting transactions- Prepare account reconciliations, and analytical review of various balance sheet and income statement accounts- Preparation of account working papers for quarterly reviews and year end audits- Continuous development and strengthening of internal controlSkills/Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in accounting or higher- Three or more years of accounting experience, public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience a plus, CPA preferred- Excellent understanding of U.
GAAP and internal controls- Ability to understand complex transaction and write technical accounting white papers, reports and procedure manuals.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills- Experience working with SAP and/or BPC is a plusPlastipak is Mobile Friendly.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
