Supply Chain Analyst
Job ResponsibilitiesPlastipak Packaging, Inc.
is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Supply Chain Analyst to become a member of our GlobalCorporate Procurement Team.
The job duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
-Develop and implement sourcing strategies, ensuring consistent, high quality supply of material at the lowest total cost.
-Develop and lead the commodity teams, comprised of quality, conversion, Product Supply, and other pertinent employees.
-Develop and implement inventory management strategies company wide.
-Develop and maintain knowledge-based data base of each preferred supplier and the industry overall.
This is to include allkey cost components, market trends, make vs.
buy analysis, as well as financial analysis, and leverage opportunities-Monitor and measure overall supplier performance utilizing ranking and rating techniques.
Skills/Qualifications
Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Packaging, or Engineering-Having a Procurement Internship experience is a plus.
-Strong verbal and written communications skills.
-Ability to manage working in teams.
-Ability to manage multiple projects.
-Strong negotiation skills.
-Ability to do statistical analysis, as well as basic financial analysis.
-SAP experience helpful.
-Ability to travel 35% to 50% of the time, on a global basis.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
