Development and evaluation of architectures of Electronic Control Units against functional and quality requirements.
Responsibilities:
o Capture and Analyses of functional and quality requirements of Electronic Control Units
o This includes both concept studies as well as detailed architectures including the necessary analyses.
o Support the design team to ensure the conformity to the architectures against the applicable safety requirements in the automotive industry (ISO-26262)
o Support the team to ensure the compliance with the detailed design reviews by i.e., to ensure fulfilment of the production standards, the ISO-26262 standards, and the requirements from AutoSPICE.
o Preparation of reports and analyses to support the decision for the design process of
o splitting of the system requirements and structural elements of the ECU,
o allocation of HW/SW elements & resources,
o budgeting of memory, current consumption, etc.
o Deployment of the requirements to other disciplines, such as hardware- and software development, taking into account the requirements and restrictions, such as safety, cost and schedule.
o Preparation of metrics and reports for Impact analyses, Change tracking and Analyses status
o Implementation of internal reviews and customer presentations.
Degree as an electronics, software engineer and or mechanical engineering ( Bachelor or Master)
o Experience in the design of electronic controllers for automotive systems, especially of safety relevant systems (ASIL D Systems)
o Experience in the field of Requirements Engineering and Management, model-based system development and semi-formal description such as UML/SysML
o Knowledge of software tools such as IBM Rhapsody and Doors / MKS is an advantage.
o Basic mechanical knowledge.
o Experience in direct contact with customers and suppliers within the automotive electronics industry.
o Understanding and Experience in applicable processes and normative (ISO 26262, ASPICE, CMMI,)
o Good communication, influencing, and presentation skills
o Willingness to travel.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
