Business Development Manager - Medical Image Processing Software
We are a global leader in providing medical image processing solutions to the Orthopedic/CMF/medical device industries for handling anatomical data from CT or MRI images.
Thousands of engineers from leading medical device companies and universities use our solutions to perform research, design patient-specific implants and/or improve standard products based on medical image data.
We are looking for someone experienced in the Orthopedic/CMF/medical industry to expand our products further in these Clinical markets.
We have a great opportunity for someone experienced in the Orthopedic/CMF/medical industry who is ready to take the next step in their career as a Business Development Manager for our Clinical Teams.
What You Will Be Doing
- Uncover unmet needs in the Orthopedic/CMF/medical B2B markets
- Consult with current & potential customers to develop new business
- Visit customers to assess their needs and recommend innovative solutions & services
- Direct customers toward the most optimal use of our software solutions
- Provide demonstrations via the web and face to face visits to do in-depth needs analysis
- Act as liaison between our customers and the software development team
What You Need for this Position
- 7-10 years technical experience in the Orthopedic industry (Product Development/Management)
- Strong technical acumen including both hardware and software products
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
- Graduate level coursework and/or relevant experience in Orthopedic applications is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation and problem solving skills a must
- Bio-medical engineering background with FEA/CFD experience a plus
- Experience with Mimics, 3-matic or 3D modeling software a plus
- Ideal candidate must be driven, self-motivated, organized and analytical, with the ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
