Looking for a Mechanical Engineer and an Electrical Engineer to work in the Plymouth area. Primary responsibilities are to design and develop industrial laser systems using innovative engineering solutions.
To qualify for the Mechanical Engineer position you must posses a BSME degree with 3 years related experience in design of industrial tooling, motion systems and/or related material processing workstations. Functions to be performed for this position are as follows:
o 3D Modeling proficiency with minimum 2 years experience designing using 3D CAD
o Inventor training preferred; alternates include SolidWorks; Solid Edge; Catia; and/or ProE
o Electro-mechanical design, including linear/rotary motion, bearings
o Tooling and fixture design of intricate part-holding solutions
o Drawing creation with full use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
o Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies related to unique and innovative machine tool solutions
o Added capabilities in the following areas beneficial:
> Familiarity with Robotic workcells and associated end effector design
> Machine shop experience (mill/lathe/fabricated sheet)
? Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar scheduling program
> Solid vendor relations and ability to bring in new vendors based on capability and cost
> Optical /imaging calculations and laser beam delivery familiarity
> Prior laser welding/cutting experience
> Micron level accuracies in part fitup and related tooling
To qualify for the Electrical Engineer position you must possess a BSEE degree with 3 years related experience in design of electrical control systems. Functions to be performed for this position are as follows:
o Design of machine motion control solutions for Electrical Safety per standards NFPA, NEC, etc.
o Selection of discrete control components (circuit breakers, relays, sensors, etc.)
o Electrical Schematic layout and design using AutoCad
o Panel and wiring layout for safety and prevention of induced noise.
o CNC Programming experience using RS274 G and/or M codes
o Motion control experience -- Siemens 840Dsl, Aerotech A3200, Parker ACR9000 and/or Rockwell
o Added capabilities in the following areas beneficial:
? Micrologix PLC Programming and Visual Basic HMI design
> Design for reduction of Electro-magnetic noise
> Cognex or other Vision Pattern Recognition programming
> Visual Basic 6 and / or programming
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
