Summary:
We are currently seeking skilled CNC Mill Machine Level 2&3 operators to join our client's production team in Plymouth, MIIn this role, you will operate computer numerical control (CNC) machining centers to perform various machine functions on metallic workpieces, such as castings, forgings, and bar stockEssential Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Edit programs on CNC machines, including setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.o Assist in setting up CNC machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, and other components.o Verify machine settings by measuring positions and sample workpieces, ensuring adherence to international standards.o Maintain specifications by observing and troubleshooting drilling, grooving, cutting, and turning operations.o Ensure safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.o Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions as needed.o Maintain communication and documentation of work activities and machine performance.o Stay updated on industry trends and advancements through participation in educational opportunities and technical publications.o Contribute to organizational goals by taking ownership of tasks and seeking opportunities for process improvementSkills and
Qualifications:
