We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Permanent Payroll Specialist to join our growing team in the Financial services industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in payroll management to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing and administration, ensuring that all processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner.
This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
1.
Oversee and manage all regular payroll processing tasks, including data collection, data entry, calculation of payroll amounts, and generation of payroll reports.
2.
Ensure that all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
3.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities promptly and accurately.
4.
Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive payroll records.
5.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
6.
Prepare and submit reports on payroll operations to the management team.
7.
Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure correct employee data.
8.
Provide excellent customer service by handling and responding to payroll-related inquiries and problems.
9.
Continually update knowledge in the payroll field through participation in educational opportunities.
10.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
1.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration or a related field.
2.
Proficiency in payroll software, as well as strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
3.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
4.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5.
High level of organization and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
6.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
7.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
8.
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
9.
Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
10.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
