Shift:
M-F 8am - 4:
30pm (OT offered)Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
oRead and understand all customer standardized test method documents.
oPerform physical property testing within corporate polyurethane quality lab according to the customer standardized documents.
oMaintain, control, and ensure accuracy of test data.
oMonitor and ensure testing is performed within Temperature and Humidity control.
oUpdate testing matrix daily to note completed testing.
oMaintain 5S and housekeeping in the lab area daily.
oMaintain sample and test fixture inventories.
oFollow all lab safety practices.
oParticipate in ISO 16949 & A2LA (ISO 17025) system improvement activities, including but not limited to audits and Proficiency Testing.
oParticipate in Gage R & R studies on lab equipment.
oParticipate in equipment verification.
oParticipate in Quality Planning meetings when required.
oBe a self - starter; to complete all work orders in a timely manner.
oAbide by all EH&S requirements.
oComply with company and departmental rules, policies and practices.
oCommunicate with team members and supervision on all issues, concerns, updates, etc.
oPerform all roles & responsibilities as defined by the BOS policies & procedures.
oPerform other duties deemed necessary by the Quality Engineer/Manager or UTC ManagerEducation Required:
oAssociate degree in a related technical area and/or equivalent in work experience.
oASQ quality certification considered an assetExperience Required:
oTwo to Five years previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
oCustomer quality system experience preferred.
Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
oAssociate degree in a related technical area and/or equivalent in work experience will be considered.
oASQ quality certification considered an assetBasic Excel knowledge required.
