Sales Manager (Strategic Business Development) Based on high customer demand for advanced lighting systems, our Plastic Omnium Lighting team is seeking to add to our growing sales organization.
The Sr.
Sales Manager works with our team of lighting experts and operations teams to support the strategic growth of the Americas Lighting division.

Responsibilities:
Experienced professional with the ability to build strong customer relationships and manage to accomplish demanding goals in an automotive supplier environment.
Manage all commercial aspects of assigned customers include both Tier 1 and OE accounts.
Manage all financial KPI's, customer reimbursement, and program measurables for existing accounts.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal and customer contacts in engineering, purchasing, and other key strategic areas Able to manage complex book of business including both:
1) Maintenance / Account Management of existing customers and 2) Strategic New Customer accounts 50% Account Management of existing OEM business 50% Strategic Growth focused on new OEM direct customers Understand and communicate/sell current, and new technology via participation in tech shows, customer visits, and new business discussions.
Contribute to the development of the sales forecast/Business Plan.
Support executive Business Committee reviews.
Lead, coordinate and follow up activities cross Business Areas, cross functional and cross regional.
Coordinate with Innovation teams to drive opportunities with strategic new customers.
Support Market Intelligence / Analytics / Trends Analysis research to drive new market growth opportunities.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):
BS technical degree (or equivalent) is required.
MBA degree a plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):
Automotive Experience (5-10 years) with proven track record at Tier 1 / 2 supplier within Technical Discipline:
Engineering, Program Management or Technical Related Sales role Excellent business, commercial and technical understanding, and capability to adapt to a dynamic and innovative environment.
Motivated by the challenge of aggressive goals; comfortable with ambiguity; demonstrates personal integrity.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
High level of emotional intelligence.
Ability to put strategy into action.
Strong ability to plan, organize and set priorities and deliver long term profitable growth Prior experience interfacing with automotive industry, including demonstrated experience in managing customer expectations.
Strong ability to understand customer goals & constraints with ability to articulate clear solutions and influence customer behaviors.
Interest to develop state of the art Lighting Systems with knowledge of complex electro-mechanical systems.
Strong industrial knowledge of Automotive Operations and Manufacturing as it relates to the overall business case.
Experience working with GM / Stellantis a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
